Description: |
Home Park was developed in 1901 as housing for workers at the Atlantic Steel Mill (now redeveloped as Atlantic Station). Most of the houses in Home Park are small craftsman bungalows. However, there are some new, large infill homes that have been built in Home Park. Because of Home Park's close proximity to Georgia Tech, Home Park is a very popular place for Georgia Tech students to live. |
Comments: |
Residents of Home Park enjoy being within walking distance to all the dining, shopping, and entertainment offered at Atlantic Station. In addition, students of Georgia Tech can abandon their cars and walk to class from one of the many residential rental units located in Home Park. Many of the homes in Home Park are perched on a hill and enjoy spectacular Midtown views. |
