Wilburn House is one of only a few buildings located directly on Piedmont Park, one of Atlanta Georgia’s premiere public parks. Wilburn House was designed in 1913 by Atlanta’s first female architect, Leila Ross Wilburn. Wilburn House was constructed as a three-story craftsman-style apartment building known as Piedmont Park Apartments. Then in 2000, a total renovation of the original building was undertaken and two new buildings were built, in keeping with Wilburn’s original architecture.
