Description: |
Ormewood Park is located between East Atlanta and Grant Park, just east of downtown. Ormewood Park was named after Aquilla J. Orme, an official with the Atlanta Electric Light and Trolley Company in the early 1900s. Mr. Orme extended the downtown street car to include the Old Soldiers Home on East Confederate Avenue.
